Out of everything in Chapter 1, this was one of the most emotional pages for me to write and draw. I think anyone who grew up introverted or somewhat anxious has asked themselves this question during many life scenarios.
The good news is, of course, that you don’t need to be like everyone else, nor would you be interesting anymore if you were.

I love this page! I’m a total extrovert but the anxiety did it for me, I was PUMPED to go to college but then on move in day after all the activities I said to my dad “OK I’m ready to go home now”
I’m sure some of these students on this page said that to their parents at the end of the day too, and Lex just didn’t know about it 🙂
(Although maybe not that one guy who’s trying to struggle out of his mom’s arms!)
